Kristen Witte (they/them) is a science writer and communicator based in Chicago. As an exhibit developer at the Museum of Science & Industry, they craft immersive experiences that connect people to each other and to the world around them. In a previous life, Kristen spent most their time watching yeast cells mate in exchange for a Ph.D. in Cell Biology from the University of Chicago. Now they use their yeast expertise to bake rosemary garlic sourdough bread that their toddler devours.
