I’m a Neuroscience PhD student at UC Berkeley interested in the neurobiological underpinnings of mental illnesses. As I am at a very early stage in my scientific career, I’m not yet sure which specific research area my interests will lead me towards. To understand what goes wrong in disease, we must first understand how the healthy brain works. There is still so much to be explored about this which is why neuroscience is so fascinating to me!
