I am from Mumbai, India. I came to the US to pursue a career in biomedical research. I studied stem cell biology during my PhD and focused on type 1 diabetes for my postdoctoral research. I work as a scientist at a start up in the California bay area. I am also a science writer for the Stanford Diabetes Research Center.
