Sarah is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Chemical Biology program at the University of Michigan where she studies cellular trafficking. Using fluorescence and cryo-electron microscopy, she looks at the proteins that make the molecular roads. When not in the lab, she edits for a grad student-run science blog, Michigan Science Writers, maintains her own blog, Annotated Science, or can be found baking bread or pizza.
