Sara has a PhD in Anthropology, an MPH in Family and Community Health, and an MS in Bioethics. From 2017-2019, Sara was Lecturer and Program Coordinator for Bioethics Education in the Faculty of Medicine at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She is currently Lecturer in the masters of bioethics program at Columbia University. She has most recently begun studying biochemistry.
